02/03/10 OLD HARRY has been nominated for best short film award at The Swansea Film Festival. It is screening on Sunday 16th May, Time - TBC. Films will be screened at the world famous Dylan Thomas Centre, Somerset Place, Swansea!

02/10/10 marks the launch of our new innovative service EYE-CUE ONLINE VIDEO ADVERTS. We believe that every business should benefit from having an online video advert and we are on a mission to bring this to as many people as possible.



18/10/09 IN BETWEEN THE WAVES came to life with a 1 day taster shoot with our lead actors TOM FELTON and ED SPELEERS. Shot on location in Dorset on a beautiful sunny day. The scenes will depict some moments from the forthcoming feature. Watch this space we are busy in post and will be releasing the material in different versions on this site. We had a great time and look forwards to the feature.




03/06/09 - Benjamin Johns has been hired to direct "Charlene", a drama feature length production adapted from the stage by Nowell Wallace and Carole-Anne Le Foll. Filming on location in Birmingham and Brittany France from 23rd august 2009 for three weeks. Download summary (PDF)

02/06/09 - Old Harry goes down a storm at BAFTA on 2nd June. The response was overwhelming, we had incredible feeback. The audience we really moved. This sets a great platform for festivals.

22/05/09 - We are pleased to announce the signing of Tom Felton - Draco Malfoy in HARRY POTTER (All Films) to play Luke and Ed Speleers - Eragorn in Eragorn to play Guy in In Between The Waves.

15/05/09 - We are delighted to annouce the signing of French Star Dominique Pinon to play Inspector Picolli, he was our No 1 choice for this role. He has been in over 70 movies but most known for Amilie, Delecatessen and Alien Ressurection.



06/05/09 - We can announce the World Premiere of Old Harry on June 2ND at BAFTA. Starring Robert Hardy, one of England's most enduringly successful character actors, it's invited guests only!!! The short film is written, directed and produced by Benjamin Johns.

A successful trip to California significant funds have been agreed for feature documentary 15/10/08.

Benjamin Johns is in California 05/10/08 researching our next feature documentary and shooting taster tape.

NUESTRO ABUELO 20/11/08 has secured a DVD and TV deal in Spain – more details to follow.

NUESTRO ABULEO – may have the world record for the most number of people at a documentary festival.

TRAFFIC WARDEN is negotiating a non exclusive DVD deal.

NUESTRO ABUELO has secured a distribution deal for TV and DVD in Mexico.

OLD HARRY. Short film 6 mins 35 mm.  We are now in post production. Principle photography was 14/15th May 2008 on location in Dorset. Starring Robert Hardy and supported by Michael Dixon and Antonia Bernath. DOP Rex Maidment BSC. The shoot went very well indeed, having postponed due to bad weather twice it was third time lucky! Robert Hardy was a dream to work with. More information to follow soon.

SECOND CHANCE. Short Film 11 mins HDCAM. Is now in post production. The film stars David Harewood, Julian Sands, Alison Steadman, Aml Ameen, Susan Vidler and Philip Jackson. Director Clint Dyer is busy in the cutting room.

NUESTRO ABULEO has been selected to be part of the UNESCO programme LAS CAMARAS de la DIVERSIDAD CINE INDIGENA. UNESCO will be promoting the film to festivals and cultural events over the next 2 years. We are very pleased that our film is part of this prestigious project.

NUESTRO ABULEO is being submitted to film festivals around the world and we are in talks with Distributors and Broadcasters.

We are pleased to announce principle photography of Old Harry - Short film written, directed and produced by Benjamin Johns.

Starring Robert Hardy (Harry Potter Fillms, Sense and Sensibility, Mrs Dalloway).
Principal Photography April 2008. DOP Rex Maidment BSC. We are amazed how fast this production has come together, almost like a dream. We are delighted to have cast Robert Hardy in the lead role. More info on this project here soon.

Working with Positive Strides UK we are in prep on short film Second Chance written by Mark Straker and directed by Clint Dyer.

An A list cast has been assembled including Oscar nominated actress Samantha Norton (In America, Sweet and Low Down, Minority Report), Alison Steadman (Pride & Prejudice, Topsy Turvy, Abigails Party) and in lead role Aml Ameen (Kidulthood). Benjamin Johns is producing. The film shoots April 2nd on location in Hertsfordshire.

Eye-Cue Pictures are pleased to anounce that we have signed a deal to produce IN BETWEEN THE WAVES, starring Rupert Friend, Russell Tovey and others. The European road movie is scheduled to go into production spring 2010, shooting on location in Wales, France, Spain and Morocco.

NUESTRO ABUELO feature Documentary. The film is about one of the worlds most pure indigenious tribes, The Huichols of northern Mexico. World Premeire in Mexico July 2007 had an audience of 6500, it then premiered in Cuba and London. Now on release to film festivals world wide and seeking distribution.

Comedy short film TRAFFIC WARDEN has won runner up at HDFEST for best comedic short film and has been selected for The Short Film festival of India held in January 2008.
