Traveller is now on nationwide release in the USA. It has been selling well nationwide in Walmart on DVD and VOD and now on Amazon and Amazon Prime . We hope our friends and colleagues in the US can get their copy and enjoy the film.

10/10/15 - New Documentary
In summer 2015 Benjamin Johns Directed a major new documentary about a revered Aboriginal Elder - Uncle Max Harrison of the Yuin Nation NSW Australia. We are now in post production of this film and more info will follow soon.

04/06/15 - Traveller to be released in the U.S.
After its UK theatrical release last year, Traveller reached no. 11 in Tesco's DVD chart, no. 12 in Morrisons' DVD charts, and 13 in HMV. Now, with a nationwide U.S. distribution deal secured for TV, VOD and DVD, Traveller will be crossing the pond in Summer 2015.
Traveller tells the story of Owen, a young half-Gypsy caught between two worlds. Craving acceptance from both the Gypsy and gorji (non-traveller) communities, Owen will only discover who he really is when he gets off the fence and faces the consequences of his actions.
Traveller is '...a remarkable first feature film' (BAFTA committee member, Ken Trodd) that introduces Billy Cook as Owen, and features David Essex, Khan Bonfils, Kerrie Hayes, Jason Maza, Lois Winstone, David Bailie and Ronnie Fox.

27/05/15 - The Mud Hut
We are delighted to announce that we have recruited Oscar-nominated Taraji P Henson to play Amaziah, Andie MacDowell to play Maureen and Vincent Kartheiser to play Philip. Shooting is scheduled for summer 2015.
The Mud Hut is a drama with comedy moments "Amaziah misses home so much she decides to build a full scale traditional African Mud Hut in her back garden much to the dislike or her neighbours"
Based on a true story THE MUD HUT is the story of a Nigerian woman Azmaziah Omotosa who lives in a mainly white area of Atlanta. She recently lost her Mother and misses home a lot and wants to feel connected with her roots but needs to feel at home in her new world. She decides to build a very large traditional mud hut in her back garden which then causes conflict with the neighbours, her family and the wider community. Her neighbour Ray Judd has a chip on his shoulder and reports her to the council who investigate and try to have it taken down. She stands up to everyone and then it hits the local and national press. Her son is attacked and she has to reconsider for the sake of her family and decide what is the most important"

02/03/10 OLD HARRY has been nominated for best short film award at The Swansea Film Festival. It is screening on Sunday 16th May, Time - TBC. Films will be screened at the world famous Dylan Thomas Centre, Somerset Place, Swansea!

03/06/09 - Benjamin Johns has been hired to direct "Charlene", a drama feature length production adapted from the stage by Nowell Wallace and Carole-Anne Le Foll. Filming on location in Birmingham and Brittany France from 23rd august 2009 for three weeks. Download summary (PDF)

02/06/09 - Old Harry goes down a storm at BAFTA on 2nd June. The response was overwhelming, we had incredible feeback. The audience we really moved. This sets a great platform for festivals.

15/05/09 We are delighted to annouce the signing of French Star Dominique Pinon to play Inspector Picolli, he was our No 1 choice for this role. He has been in over 70 movies but most known for Amelie, Delecatessen and Alien Ressurection.
06/05/09 We can announce the World Premiere of Old Harry on June 2ND at BAFTA. Starring Robert Hardy, one of England's most enduringly successful character actors, it's invited guests only!!! The short film is written, directed and produced by Benjamin Johns.

OLD HARRY. Short film 6 mins 35 mm. We are now in post production. Principle photography was 14/15th May 2008 on location in Dorset. Starring Robert Hardy and supported by Michael Dixon and Antonia Bernath. DOP Rex Maidment BSC. The shoot went very well indeed, having postponed due to bad weather twice it was third time lucky! Robert Hardy was a dream to work with. More information to follow soon.
SECOND CHANCE. Short Film 11 mins HDCAM. Is now in post production. The film stars David Harewood, Julian Sands, Alison Steadman, Aml Ameen, Susan Vidler and Philip Jackson. Director Clint Dyer is busy in the cutting room.
NUESTRO ABULEO has been selected to be part of the UNESCO programme LAS CAMARAS de la DIVERSIDAD CINE INDIGENA. UNESCO will be promoting the film to festivals and cultural events over the next 2 years. We are very pleased that our film is part of this prestigious project.

We are pleased to announce principle photography of Old Harry - Short film written, directed and produced by Benjamin Johns.Starring Robert Hardy (Harry Potter Films, Sense and Sensibility, Mrs Dalloway).

Working with Positive Strides UK we are in prep on short film Second Chance written by Mark Straker and directed by Clint Dyer.
An A list cast has been assembled including Oscar nominated actress Samantha Norton (In America, Sweet and Low Down, Minority Report), Alison Steadman (Pride & Prejudice, Topsy Turvy, Abigails Party) and in lead role Aml Ameen (Kidulthood). Benjamin Johns is producing. The film shoots April 2nd on location in Hertsfordshire. The movie is completing post production
Eye-Cue Pictures are pleased to anounce that we have signed a deal to produce IN BETWEEN THE WAVES, starring ED SPELEERS, TOM FELTON, DOMINIQUE PINON and María Valverde. The European road movie is scheduled to go into production spring 2010, shooting on location in Norfolk, France, Spain and Morocco.

A feature Documentary feature documentary will be released in Mexico very soon and a deal is being secured in Spain and other territories.
The film is about one of the worlds most pure indigenious tribes, The Huichols of northern Mexico. World Premeire in Mexico July 2007 had an audience of 6500, it then premiered in Cuba and London. Now on release to film festivals world wide and seeking distribution.
Comedy short film TRAFFIC WARDEN has won runner up at HDFEST for best comedic short film and has been selected for The Short Film festival of India held in January 2008.
